TMV Plays Goliath at Abbey Road Studio

Given news of the return of At the Drive In I thought I'd follow up with what happened after ATDI. Half the band split and made Sparta, keeping most of the roots of ATDI with the same feel. While the other half made The Mars Volta and went for a more experimental feel with influences from a wide range of musical construct.

This song below I wanted to share called "Goliath" from their 4th album titled "The Bedlam in Goliath". The albums this band makes are mostly made of concept albums and the story that inspired this album was due to a purchase of a Ouija board while traveling and touring. Strange things started happening to the band and such bad luck that they decided to get rid of it in a special way due to the words of a holy man.

I recommend this album but of course starting from the beginning would be best :) Enjoy :D

It's official. I've decided to become Bruce Lee status with these new chucks I picked up and in hopes that this will increase focus and fluid movement. Right now I'm all about fluid movement for some reason and what better to channel it than to nunchuck.

I'll be practicing all night after my training routine which I will post under all this but thought I'd share my little adventure. Hopefully this video (yes I know its fake) will inspire some of you to take on chucking but please, PLEASE! Be careful! Happy chucking :D

UFO's, gravity, and pizza.

"Bob Lazar goes on record to recount his experiences at the S4 Facility, Groom Lake, Nevada. He has passed two lie detector tests about his experiences, so he is either telling the truth or he is the greatest actor who ever lived."

This is part 1 of 4 videos of Robert Lazar discussing very interesting details about what he personally saw when hired for S4 and I must say, holy fuckin shit! He goes on about how the crafts are beyond us, yet, simple. Grab something to snack on and decide for yourself whether true or not.

I've always loved the thought of us not being alone and after watching these I can't help but be excited for new technology that we will most likely never see. However with rare spawns like Mr. Lazar we can bang our heads against a desk and ponder how gravity is fuckin amazing and should be more looked into.

David, Goliath, and the message they hold.

Jan 4th 2012 Jorge Saavedra was given his freedom back ( if you can call it that ) after stabbing Dylan Nuno a fellow high schooler 12 times with one nicking his heart. Before thinking what's wrong with this picture? Dylan Nuno had been bullying Jorge Saavedra for some time now and took it one step too far when exiting a bus to follow Jorge Saavedra.

Jorge Saavedra had got off the bus a few stops before his actual stop to avoid conflict however couldn't shake the bully and friends. Given no other choice but to defend himself after Dylan Nuno punched Jorge Saavedra in the back of the head and under Florida's "Stand your ground" law Jorge Saavedra does what few are able to do, take a stand.

After reading the whole ordeal of it and how all the charges are dropped I can only nod my head and commend the victim who is Jorge Saavedra. This is a big issue that could of been resolved another way but life isn't simple that way. Did everyone forget the white husky kid who was recorded being punched in the face and taunted by a smaller white skinny kid? Then got his little ass tossed? Shit kid what were you expecting? Goliath can be any size and so can David, however only with people like this who can stand up for themselves that I commend and have no remorse for the bullies who choose to engage in such an act. They choose to do harm and should know damn well that if you choose to do harm, harm can come right back.

Let this lesson be learned to all the friends and family of Dylan Nuno and his coward friends that choose to bully and harass one person.

Death may have not been the answer but when you corner someone what really did you expect?

Will power.

With the new year bringing in new fatness on my body that is fully welcome, I look forward to reshaping my body. Slow and steady is the motto for right now.

200 ab twists
75 burpees
20 one hand push ups

Time: 19 mins

Almost threw up yeah what? I feel disgusted that this brought me to my knees. *whispers to self* "You're better than this now show it."

Live to train tomorrow. The fuck you still reading this for? Look at the picture and get your fatass up and train! ><

In her life for a day.

Walking pass the park yesterday an elderly women is walking across the street from me and drops both the bags in her arms. Amazingly, being in a park with everyone around her, joggers, walkers, dog ass watchers. No one stops to help her.

I walk up to this elderly lady, on her knees watching her slowly picking up piece by piece of useless things she has purchased from a store that sells useless products. I stand, glaring at her not saying a word. People walking, running, ignoring the two of us standing and kneeling. She looks up and with a kind of confused trite smile. She asks "Can you help me?"

I look at her for exactly ten seconds to achieve an awkward pause and say "No, i will not help you." Loud enough so that everyone around us could hear. Just then about seven to eight people stopped, looked at me, looked at her, back at me with such anger they then offered to help this elderly lady.

To make people feel good nowadays is getting harder and harder. It is only after they feel insulted by someone else's remarks or actions is when people gain courage to stand against something.

"We have to show these men and women freedom by enslaving them, and show them courage by frightening them."

After everything was picked up, bagged, and in its proper place. The heroic seven or eight pilgrims walked by me muttering obscenities. "Fuckin prick." "Asshole." "Useless bitch." Stares that would melt people who had hearts and souls.

The elderly lady then walks up to me, gazing maybe fifteen inches from my face. Waits exactly ten seconds and says "That was clever, thank you son." then proceeds to hand me an orange with a relieved look on her face, and continues on her however remaining time line path she has left.

To make people feel good nowadays is getting more difficult. Someone has to be the asshole for someone to look like a hero.
